Mingus Teams Up With The Mason Jar in 2018

Inside Line Promotions – HURON, Ohio (Oct. 30, 2017) – Kevin Mingus recently added another marketing partner to his growing list as he builds his own 305ci winged sprint car team.
The Mason Jar, which is a bar and grill located in Sandusky, Ohio, has come on board with Mingus Motorsports in 2018.
“Jim and Chris Roberts are building a great bar and grill that has a fantastic family atmosphere,” Mingus said. “The Mason Jar has good food and cold beer. You can watch sports and they have entertainment every now and then. The Mason Jar is an excellent fit in our family oriented race team. I also recommend going to The Mason Jar on Wednesdays for their burger night.”
The Roberts owned a tavern in Sandusky, Ohio, called Bud’s Place for nearly 10 years and they sponsored race teams that competed at nearby Sandusky Speedway – a half-mile asphalt track. This will be their first sponsorship of a dirt racing team.
“We’re excited to help Kevin this year,” Chris Roberts said. “When we sponsored the team at Sandusky it was a lot of fun, especially when they would bring the car out to the bar and the fans got to meet the team. Sponsoring a race team is a good way to spend your advertising money.”
Mingus said his team plans to compete weekly at Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio, and at Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio, as well as with the JLH General Contractor FAST 305 Championship Series in 2018.
