Sooner Late Models Feature at Humboldt Speedway
Rays Metal Depot USRA B-mods where in action on Friday and we saw two team mates on the front with super fast cars. Well from the start had some really good racing between the two as they went back and forth in the 7G of Gabe Hodges and the 5 of Reece Solander but in the end the Gabe Hodges who started on the pole ended up picking up the win. Reece Solander took 2nd and we saw the X2 of Brian Bolin who has been fast this year also at Humboldt Speedway but took 3rd and 4th went to the 18JR of Chase Sigg and 5th went to the 54 of Tyler Kidwell.
Extrusions, INC Midwest Mods saw another new winner this week when we saw Tyler Davis in the 01JR get out front and do a good job by holding off the pack and picked up the win. Jimmie Davis in the 01 took 2nd and 3rd went to the 99JR of Blake Sutton and 4th went to the 09 of Tret Bailey and 5th went to the 1 of Trevor Holman.
Well Dallas Joyce in the 7 car stayed hot as he picks up another win in the Home Savings Bank Factory Stocks. Ethan Vance ran a really good race as he started 6th and ended up taking 2nd and 3rd went to the 9R of Ronnie Kitterman and 4th went to the 17 of Tevyn James and 5th place car was the 14M of Trey Stipp.
USRA Tuners saw the two cars that have been battling the last few weeks once again up front and battling it out. The 17H of Clint Haigler and the 4T of Trenton Wilson but coming out on top this week was the 17H of Clint Haigler. Second this week went to the 4T of Trenton Wilson and 3rd went to the 707 of Larry Trester 4th went to the 2 of Derryl Aeillo and 5th went to the 20 of Austin Frey.
Well the A main of the Sooner Late Model Series did not disappoint with some great racing through out the whole field the whole entire race but in the end when the 71 of Jim Body got to some lap traffic and the 60 car of Kip Hughes saw an opening and took advantage of Body slowing up for the lap traffic. Well Kip Hughes to it to victory Lane in the 60 car. The 2nd place car was the 71 of Jim Body and 3rd went to the 9 of Joseph Gorby and 4th went to the 10 of Jacob Magee and 5th went to the 92S of Dan Smith.
Humboldt will be back in action coming up this weekend as we will have the ASCS National touring series hitting the track and also will be having our awesome AmeriFlex USRA B-mod Special. The other classes joining in on the fun will be your Extrusion INC. Midwest Mods, Home Savings Bank Factory Stocks, USRA Tuners and your Armi Contracting USRA Modifieds.
