Banks, Oregon- 2018 would come to a close on Saturday, September 29th, at Sunset Speedway Park. The “Bank Bullring” also managed to beat out some threatening weather and collected a pretty big car count as well. Six division were in the house include Super Late Models, Street Stocks, Pure Stocks, Dwarf Cars, 4-Bees, and New Bees. All seven would have a champion crowned at the conclusion of the night.

Sonny Modaff scored his second Super Late Model win of the campaign while Willie Sutton earned the championship honors. Vancouver, Washington’s Arnie Case capped off his incredible Street Stock race season with a victory making it fifteen trips to victory lane and the title. Tim Zurita parked it in the winner’s circle for the fourth time in the Pure Stocks while Kendall Lee managed to earn the class crown.

Jake Van Ortwick took care of business in the Dwarf Car ranks, the only time managed to win this year, with Tigard gasser Shane Youngren earning the most points. Don Briggs was most-newest winner in the 4-Bee division and Ryan Conroy ended the campaign number one in the points table. Lastly, Tori Chandler tied for the most wins in the New Bees after winning for the fourth time while Cutlass Jones won the track championship.
