Travis Robertson claims another Track Championship
Travis Robertson claims another Track Championship at Devils Lake Speedway
All of 6 points separated Travis Robertson and Dustin Strand coming into Saturday Nights race in the Wissota Late Model Division. Tucker Pederson won Heat 1. Travis Robertson would finish 3rd in heat 1 with Dustin Strand winning heat 2. Which would put both drivers into the redraw. Dustin Strand redrew the pole with Travis Robertson drawing the outside pole. The 2 drivers would duke it out for the win. On lap 2 of the feature race. Robertson would take the lead and held Strand off on a restart about lap 5. Strand would take the lead on another restart on lap 6 where Strand was able to slip past Robertson to take the lead. Robertson wouldn't go down without a fight running side by side with strand and several attempts to pass Strand. Joey Pederson would work himself into the Mix along with Tucker Pederson and Brody Troftgrueben. With many 3 Wide battles throughout the feature race for 3rd and 4th Place. Joey Pederson would eventually come to challenge Robertson for the 2nd place position. But Robertson held him off to finish 2nd with Strand taking another trip to victory lane. Robertson would not come home empty handed. After all points were calculated Robertson won the points championship by 2 points. With Dustin Strand finishing the 2025 season 2nd in track points. Brody Troftgrueben would finish 3rd in Track points. Rookie Kelsi Pederson finished 4th in Track points with Jason Stand finishing 5th for the 2025 season. The reason Wissota Late Models season ended so early this season at the Devils Lake Speedway was to accommodate the surrounding tracks with their specials.
In the Wissota Midwest Mod Division Jory Berg would win Heat 1 and Chris Kruk would win heat 2. Jory Berg and Austin Hunter would redraw the front row for the feature. Austin Hunter would lead the 1st 7 laps before Jory Berg pulled a a slide job on Austin Hunter in corner 1 to take the lead. Jory Berg would cruise his way to victory lane making it 3 weeks in a row. Ryne Uhich would move up 3 spots to finish 3rd. MaKenna Romuld moved up 4 spots to finish 4th. Chris Kruk would finish where he started in the 5th place position.
In Wissota Street Stocks Trey Hess swept the night winning the Heat and the Feature. Greg Jose would finish 2nd. Drew Peterson finished 3rd. Stoney Kruk finished 4th and Rookie Driver Jordan Barker finished 5th.
Waylon Poitra swept the night winning both the heat and the feature in Purestocks.
