Spreedrome is back.

Kyle Donahue was back on some familiar ground last night at the famed Speedrome in Indianapolis. The track is celebrating its 70 years of racing but Kyle only gets to celebrate a 3rd place finish. While hoping for a win he just couldn’t get around the 02 car of Brown as he battled to get to 1st. A mid race incident put Kyle in a spin but he quickly recovered. Knowing that Kyle was only 8 years old the last time he made laps at Speedrome he said he still felt very comfortable on the track. Angela Donahue may try out her newly rebuilt Legend car tonight or at least run a few laps to get ready for her 2011 season. Kevin Donahue is doing a great job as assistant crew chief and may find a way to get in a Legend car too. As usual Joel and his crew made us feel right at home and did a great job at running the races. The Donahue’s were ready to get back to the action at Speedrome and all had the same thing to say, “This track has some of the most exciting racing we have ever seen.” Tonight we will get to enjoy more racing and also be a spectator for the 75 lap figure 8 race.
