Top-5 finish in Longhorn debut at Pittsburgh Pa. Motor Speedway
After Mother Nature wiped out Friday night’s event at Raceway 7 (Conneaut, Ohio), Stormy Scott returned with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) on Saturday at Pittsburgh Pa. Motor Speedway (Imperial, Pa.) to make his Longhorn Chassis debut in the Pittsburgher 100. Drawing 35 cars, Scott timed in eighth fastest in his time trial group before grabbing the fourth and final transfer spot in his heat. Starting the $20,000-to-win Pittsburgher 100 in 15th, Stormy marched forward 11 spots in the caution-plagued 100-lapper to place fourth behind Ricky Thornton Jr., Josh Richards, and Earl Pearson Jr. with Michael Norris coming in fifth.
