Banks, Oregon- After Wednesday’s date for the Wild West Modified Shootout Sunset Speedway Park returns to racing on Saturday, June 30th. It is the Bobby Morley Memorial, originally scheduled for April 28th, and it will have the Street Stocks headline the program. $650.00 will be up for grabs courtesy of Bobby’s father Marty Holmason and family. Also in action is Super Late Models, Pure Stocks, 4-Bees, Dwarf Cars, and both classes of Micro Sprints.

Arnie Case has been pretty perfect in the Street Stocks this season. He has won every race but one on the schedule for the division and will look to do so come Saturday night. His win streak would be halted when Donald Schott won the Wednesday night race. Travis Koch was the first ever winner of the Bobby Memorial winner, in 2016, while last year unfortunately fell to weather.

Jason Johnson, Britton Donahoo, and Willie Sutton all have claimed wins at SSP this year in the Super Late Model ranks. Tanner Krohling and Tim Zurita are tied for most wins in the Pure Stocks with two each while Bert Pegg just has one victory to his credit.

The Dwarf Cars have yet to see a repeat winner as Shane Youngren, Jeremiah Hester, Jake Tupper, Josh Rodgers, and Ryan Martinez have all tasted success so far. Ryan Conroy has six 4-Bee wins including last week while Austin Henderson, William Wolfe, and Captain Turnabout have one each.

In the Restricted Micros there have five winners in as many races. Becca Clark, Dakota Drake, Lane Taylor, Allison Johnson, and Jo Jo Batalgia have all visited the winner’s circle once. In the Open Micro Jeff Little has two trips to victory lane with Evan Margeson, Jesse Schlotfeldt, and Chance Crum making one visit.

Pit Gates open at 2:00 PM, Front Gates 4:00, Time Trials begin at 5:30, with Racing kicking off at 6:30. Tickets are $13.00 for Adults and Seniors/Military/Juniors (13-17) $10.00. A Family Pass (Two Adults and up to four Youths) is offered for $35.00 while Premium Seats are available for $25.00 each. Tickets, apparel, and more can be purchased online at www.pnwdirtracing.com .
