The Shootout!
This Monday, October 27 of 2014, is the day before the annual Skip Barber Karts to Cars scholarship shootout in Sebring, Florida. Cabot Bigham is fortunate enough to be participating as a driver in this high competition event. 18 talented kart racers have been selected to pilot 2.0L Skip Barber formula cars. The heat is on because Tuesday, tomorrow, marks the start of the event. These next three days will be hosted by Skip Barber Racing School, which has the top racing school instructors in the country. Throughout the event there will be mock interviews, five timed lapping sessions, and several seminars ranging from car dynamics to driver marketing. All kart racers are assigned points based on their lap time consistency, manners, interview skills, and more. Cheer on team Bigham as he competes for a top spot in this weeks event!
