MARRS VI @ Summit Point
After a complete rework of the Road Racing setup, Carter Weedon Racing ventured to Summit Point for MARRS VI. Saturday Qualifying produced some fast laps resulting in the LC pole. In the 12-lap race later that day, had a slow start and dropped to 3rd in LC. But continued to improve on the fast laps moving through the field to finish 1st in LC and 3rd overall. Carter commented the car was "wicked fast" and he was ready for the 20-lap on Sunday.
Carter started the 20-lap race on Sunday 5th on the grid, 1st in LC. With a much better start than on Saturday, Carter was able to stay with the front running SPU car through the early laps, but had to back it down just a pit to conserve tires for the remainder of the 20-lap race. Carter finished 1st in LC and 4th overall.
